Because traditional options are scarce, Kex Rx is now providing compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections, as well as semaglutide oral drops!
What are my options?
Injection
We have partnered with a 503B pharmacy to provide compounded injectable semaglutide and tirzepatide options to our patients. A 503B pharmacy is a pharmacy that is registered with the FDA as a compounding outsourcing facility; they operate on a large scale to make the compounds available to other pharmacies. Though the compound is not FDA approved, the facility that produces it is an FDA approved drug manufacturer and is inspected regularly. Each batch we receive comes with a Certificate of Analysis showing the chemical composition.
Sublingual Drops
At Kex Rx are providing semaglutide through our affiliate Summit Rx Pharmacy. Their pharmacist compounds semaglutide as liquid drops that are administered sublingually (under the tongue). Their team takes an available FDA-approved form of semaglutide and changes the dosage form or strength to be customized to the final product for the patient.
